Are you interested in working with quality? Within CMQ, Current Model Quality, daily work is to understand situation regarding quality of cars in customer use and act on deviations.
Job Description
As Product Follow Up Engineer you are the interface between markets and Current Model Quality. Main task is to identify deviations from the market, report internal CMQ and communicate Service and Product solutions to the markets.

Your main tasks as a Product Follow up Engineer:
• Your main area will be Transmissions; Gearboxes, All Wheel Drive systems and other Transmission related components.
• Initiate/maintain flawless communication with product technical staff in the market/sales companies.
• Defining and quantifying product deviations from the markets based on multiple indata sources such as: SACS, Vehicle Reports, Warranty, Diagnostics-, Spare parts, Customer relations, workshop contacts, Direct Line and Support Engineers.
• Provide the markets with technical information: progress SACS items, Service- and Production solutions, including repair instructions, through technical journals etc.
• Based on analysis results of the input data, create, present and follow-up Market Concerns regarding product issues to QAT/VRT team requesting Service- and Production solutions.
• Secure the achievement of the agreed targets for, market concerns and SACS as settled.
• Initiate/maintain continuous communication with the QAT/VRT teams and other product investigation staff.
• Create and analyses warranty data: Early Warning reporting. Trends for Systems/Model/MY, Deep dives on component level when needed. Follow up on implemented solutions.
• Report/communicate developments and trends regarding warranty information, field reports and technical journals to QAT, CMQ and their management.
• Create, follow up and update quality items in their data systems (QALE, TIE and SACS) and reporting progress of quality issues to their/CMQ management.
• Representing Technical Support at technical conferences worldwide.
Qualifications
• University degree Technical education
• Good technical vehicle competence within the Powertrain area
• Good knowledge in MS Office applications
• Knowledge in TIE, Lotus Notes and VIDA.
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
