We are a small, multi-cultural team of engineers representing the bi-directional link between customer and Production to launch and maintain new projects within the Automotive business successfully. We are looking for individuals with an enormous passion for engineering to join us on our upcoming challenges. You will be joining a close-knit, multi-disciplinary group of different backgrounds and ages who work together in a demanding and rewarding environment to reach our goals.
Our main areas are:
We are providing consultancy services to OEM's and their suppliers regarding the design of electrical distribution systems.
Wiring harness design: Cable harness integration and partitioning in customer 3D environment to secure robust layout of the wiring harness.
Component design: Creation of wiring components for routing support, guidance, protection and fixation in plastic, sheet metal and other materials.
System testing and validation: Performing system and wire harness testing to secure the delivery of units fulfilling customer requirements.
Our leading OEMs are Volvo Cars, Volvo Trucks and Lear Corporation. We are also working for Aptive, NEVS, Geely, CEVT, Lynk&Co, Polestar, Jaguar, Land Rover.
You will have the possibility to work on the cars you dream of or see on the street like Polestar, Volvo XC40/60/90/100, Jaguar I-Pace or even supercar Mercedes AMG GT.
Also, you will be a part of the automotive future working on autonomous cars.

As an engineer within our company, you will work mainly at our client sites. We are located in Gothenburg, Sweden, and our customers are several of the leading automotive companies in the region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Analyze and understand related specifications/product requirements
Deliver a robust design according to quality procedures (including mechanical and electrical design)
Select the right components for implementation on design
Resolving any design issues when identified
Promote improvement initiatives
Design Validation
Support the design review with customer, manufacturing, suppliers and engineering areas
Participation and collaboration with a wider engineering team
Work Cross Functionally with Customer, Suppliers, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.
Support Wire Harness Complexity Generation
Support Harness/Vehicle Assembly Plants
Track and Control Design Changes

Aside from this, we are looking for someone with:
Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent competence through other education and/or professional experience.
Experience in CAD programs and technical drawings.
Technical interest and knowledge.
Strong organizational, analytical and technical communication skills.
Good communication and writing skills in English.
Authentic and responsive.

Positive approach and solution-focused.
Result-oriented and able to make decisions.
Integrity, courage and personal energy.

Meritorious could also be:
Experience in CATIA V5 or CREO.
Experience from the automotive industry.
Experience in Teamcenter.
Experience with product development
