About the Position
TC TECH offers a unique solution for producing the most advanced micro/nano patterns for optical films, microfluidics and other high tech applications. TC TECH's state of the art technology allows our customers to reduce their energy consumption and improve product quality. Our TCP system has unique advantages such as double-sided aligned patterns and perfect replication. We are a game-changer for sustainable and energy-friendly next generation screens. You will be a key player in our continued growth and success in the industry.
As a product engineer you will work with problem solving at its core: you will work together with the whole team, customer and suppliers. Brainstorming and concept generation is an essential part of our creative process. The team is always bouncing ideas off each other - both good and bad. Finding the true needs and requirements as well as root cause of issues will be key in succeeding in this role.
In your daily work you will be responsible for researching and finding where we can improve our system and get the biggest return with the smallest effort. You will be designing and developing concepts and prototypes of new features, functions and improvements, followed by testing those functions and verifying that the desired results have been achieved. You will also implement the finalized solution with manufacturing and/or on the customer site. In all steps it will be essential to align with the different stakeholders in the process such as Marketing, Sales, Sourcing and Manufacturing. It is often written in job ads and we will write it again: there is no "I" in "team". You will become a part of a company with 10 colleagues where everyone knows each other and the process from idea to decision is very short.
This is a full time position based in Stockholm, Spånga.
Who You Are
If you share our technical interest and agree that there is no I in team, then we want to hear from you. We're looking for a collaborative, analytical and structured colleague, is that you? To qualify for the position you should have
Experience in a development team working with mechanical engineering, perhaps as a product development engineer or test engineer.
A master's degree or equivalent work experience, for example mechanical design engineering or applied physics.
Basic proficiency with CAD/PDM.
Solid English proficiency. Swedish skills are a plus.
B-class driver's license.
It's a big plus if you have experience in a leading role, for example tech lead. Perhaps you would be interested in growing with TC TECH and taking on a role as project manager or tech lead in the future?
