Are you the candidate we are looking for?
We are now looking for Product Engineer to work with our safety system robots within our Product team in Services Business Line. You will work focusing on smelt spout robots installed and planned at recovery boilers worldwide. You will also participate in installation and commissioning sessions at customer site and continuously work with technical developments.
The team works in close cooperation with our local Service center in Gothenburg. You are also expected to support other products within the team.
Your main task is to work together with our area organization to support our customers with:
Act as product specialist for smelt spout robots
Act as product engineer in sales projects and during project execution
Be responsible that safety regulations for the robot cells are achieved
Develop and support technical solutions
Participate in sales meetings with customers
Do product presentations and training
Participate in global product team meetings
Perform robot programming and site support on and off site when necessary, including trouble shooting
Have customer and sub-supplier contact on a regular basis
Assure that layout requirements are sustained in sales projects
As a Product Engineer you need to keep a global view of the product and collect and share information with other colleagues globally.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, mechatronic, automation, chemical or process engineering or similar and at least 3 years working experience working as an engineer within relevant industry. It's valued if you have experience from the Pulp and Paper Industry. Meritorious is also to have knowledge in electrical/AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Machine Directive, CE marking, PLC programming and robot installations and programming.
As a person, you are a driven and responsible problem solver with the ability to analyze customer problems. You are innovative and used to solve advanced, technical problems. You take on challenges in a smooth and business-like way and is easy to interpret and understand industrial laws, standards, and information.
You are a team player, but you do just as well on your own. You should have fluent communication skills, both written and spoken in English. Furthermore, you are structured, result oriented, customer focused, innovative and a team player. You shall enjoy traveling internationally.
