Incipientus provides real-time viscosity measurements to the food , paper pulp and consumer goods processing industries using Medical ultrasound techniques. To strengthen our team further, we are now looking for a Product Engineer. Main tasks will be; researching, analyzing, designing and developing products for manufacturing, configuration, testing, technical documentation, prototyping and commissioning systems at customer locations.
General areas of responsibility:
Engineer and refine mechanical systems for process devices within medical equipment, spanning the entire conceptualisation and detailed design process to comprehensive engineering analysis.
Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers and regulatory specialists to ensure the smooth progression of successful product development.
Formulate and execute robust testing plans and procedures to uphold the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.
Provide technical support during design and regulatory reviews through meticulous documentation, impactful presentations and insightful data analysis.
Conduct hands-on testing for failure modes, ingress protection and environmental stability, ensuring the reliability and durability of the medical devices.
Actively participate in usability engineering exercises, engaging with stakeholders for valuable insights and contributing to usability trials for enhanced product refinement.
Architect and prototype enclosures for medical devices, detailing both top-level design and subcomponent requirements with precision.
Assure alignment of enclosure design with pertinent regulatory standards, including those set by the FDA, ISO and CE.
Collaborate seamlessly with manufacturing teams and suppliers to formulate an industrial manufacturing solution, incorporating materials analysis and rigorous mechanical testing.
Implement design considerations for specific manufacturing processes, taking into account chemical compatibility and effective thermal management.
Innovate in the design and prototyping of packaging for medical devices, emphasising both aesthetic and functional aspects, and subjecting these devices to rigorous environmental stability testing.

Other: Ability to travel frequently within Europe and surrounding region, but also other continents from time to time. No criminal record.
