HemoCue R&D is strengthening and deepening its competencies. We are looking for an experienced medical device program manager for the role of leading one of our product development programs in the area of point of care diagnostics, specifically in the area of heamatology, to develop a system comprising of an analyser and consumables.
You will be responsible for the day-day running of product development project(s), accountable for content, timeline and budget. Depending of the type of project you will manage a team of between 5 and 25 engineers and scientists, some of which might be consultants and/or working off site or offshore. You will be leading cross-functional resources from Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, QA/RA in addition to R&D. You will prepare and present materials for Portfolio Planning Group meetings and project steering groups. You are expected to plan and maintain the budget for your project and run its daily management/visual management processes under the Danaher Business System (DBS). You will have the personnel management responsibility for your team. You will report to the VP R&D and be placed in Ängelholm, Sweden.
Qualification:
We are looking for a person with the following experience and qualification:
• MSc or the equivalent in a suitable field of engineering or science
• Medical devices or diagnostics product development
• Project Management
• Process Development
• Real-world experience of releasing and maintaining analyzer-consumables systems in the marketplace
• Experience in Haematology or Cytology is an advantage
• You have excellent English in speech and writing, Swedish is an advantage
On a personal level, you expect to be a strong leader and you have excellent communications skills. process oriented person with a passion to encompass and deploy the Danaher Business System. Your main communication language will be English, and we expect near native level skills both in speaking and writing. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for this role.
