Our Exciting Opportunity
Have you ever wanted to work with Telecom networks utilizing almost the full Ericsson portfolio? Then this could be the next growth opportunity for you!
Main focus right now is the journey towards 5G which for our business area means new functionality and products but also transforming into a Cloud Native portfolio. Our organization provides various test and development environment services that will chip in to making 5G a success story.
This project manager position will drive projects in the Shared Telecom Services Program which focuses on providing Telecom test environments to a variety of organizations within Ericsson. Main focus for you are on environments providing training for Ericsson customers in our products for 4G and 5G.
This successful leader must have Project Management expertise and excellent communication skills that allow for cultivating confidence and trust with our partners. The preferred candidate have experience in running projects across time zones and with deliveries of a Telecom nature.
The role demands considerable flexibility in quickly adapting to shifting needs, and is expected to effectively cover a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to.
You will
Manage multiple partners, Business Units, SPOCs
Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Lead projects across programs, organisations and teams
Assisting customers with using our services throughout projects
Create Statements of Work and be responsible for their successful execution, control project scope and issue Work Change Orders appropriately
Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate risks
Understand Business requirements and challenges
Create detailed project plans to supervise progress, handle project scope, planning and costs
Report Project Metrics and raise risks to management as needed
Perform risk management to minimize project risks and report in a timely manner
Manage multiple projects


To be successful in the role you must have
We have high expectations on you as an individual, to bring a good combination of broad-based business, leadership, and functional experience:
2-5 years of relevant professional work experience with at least 2 years of experience in project/service/program management
Ability to understand the needs from each partner or business drivers and sponsors
Experience managing partner expectations and follow commitments
Experience in forecasting
Superior influencing, presentation and communication skills


The following is beneficial
Experience from working with Telecom networks or products
Experience working with service delivery
Deep understanding on how a global organization works and interact between different function/units
