Product Documentation is a department within Volvo Penta Product & Solutions Development (PSD). We are responsible for the unique Volvo Penta PSD IT-systems as well as the IT-systems PSD share with Volvo Group. We are also responsible for support, quality assurance and training regarding the documentation of Product data in the Product Data Management systems. Furthermore, the department has the responsibility for the 3D modelling process & the Creo CAD systems, creates Computer Generated Images and supplies drawings and models to the Sales system.
This is how you could make an impact
You will have the responsibility for our unique Volvo Penta applications. These are applications that are tailor made to support Volvo Penta Product & Solutions Development. They support projects with part development, prototype/material management, project budgeting, financial follow-up, and time reporting for our development activities. Your responsibility will also cover the administration of other IT applications that PSD share with the rest of Volvo Group.
You will have close contact with the developers in India and Poland and will lead them in their work. In parallel, you will have close contact with management and other users concerning strategic questions, budget, requests for improvements and planning of their implementation. It is hereby essential that you have the ability to both discuss detailed SW issues, and high-level demands. Your achievements are central in the Product & Solutions Development's success.

You have worked with systems management, worked in close contacts with users, and you have the ability to be the gateway between users and developers. You have a profound interest in, and understanding of SW development. We work in an agile way with close interactions between all involved parties.
