We welcome you to an impactful role, here with us at Seco!
About the job
In this position, you focus on R&D and utilize CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings. Specify new product functionality requirements - design, test and integrate components to produce final blueprints, and thereafter evaluate the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety.
Design, develop, execute and evaluate fit-for-use testing, product specifications and process validation plans as well as create and review material part specifications and bills of materials.
Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability.
This position is based in either Norrköping or Arboga, Sweden, and some international travel is required.
