In our development unit (Centre of Excellence for Mobile Phones), we have an opening for a Product Development Engineer.
CoE Mobile Phones is a corporate design and development unit within Becker Industrial Coatings targeted for the development of coating systems for the Telecom and Consumer Electronics industries.
It is directly involved with key global OEMs in the segment, together with very strong connections with BIC sister companies worldwide.
Becker Industrial Coatings has a leading position within this market segment.
CoE Product Development Engineer:
• The position involves:
Development of new products, and optimization of existing ones in order to maintain a product portfolio that meets and precedes market expectations.
The work is project based and comprises activities from project planning to formulation and execution of derived tasks.
It is carried out in close cooperation with our design staff and a committed team of experienced development engineers.

International contacts, internally with other Beckers units throughout the world, as well as with external customers, partners and suppliers form an integral part of the position. With time, travelling up to 20% can also be expected.
• Background:
Academic degree in Chemical Engineering preferably focused towards polymer science. A few years experience of product development in the coatings industry is preferred, but freshly graduated applicants may also be considered for the position.
Besides team working ability, high autonomy and project management skills are required
