We are looking for a Product Developer with drive and passion for developing the H&M mannequins and display form program. You will be a part of the Visual Production Group at the Global Visual Department.
The Mannequin Team manages all aspects of display form development and works closely with the Purchase team and the suppliers to make sure the best display forms ends up in the stores worldwide.
OVERALL ROLE
You will be a key player working in close collaboration with the team cross functionally within H&M and with our external suppliers. Your day to day work will have impact and make a difference in the store experience and business globally.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
• Develop display forms according to the company's visual strategy.
• Collaborate cross functional with the Visual department and Purchase departments to secure the end results.
• Support and follow up projects with the suppliers both on site and through other communication channels.
• Set and improve efficient routines and processes that ensure the best results.
• Plan and secure deliveries and deadlines for projects.
• Secure that final product aligns with the original design.
• Produce product specifications and technical information according to brief.
• Support suppliers with technical drawings and 3d models.
• Approve technical drawings, product prototypes, finishes and production samples.
• Set QC specifications and follow up production.
• Input and update products in the PLM system
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU
• Have a background in engineering and/or industrial design with experience in 3D software such as Siemens NX, Rhinoceros and Cinema 4D, with 7-10 years working experience
• Have a Bachelor or Master degree of Technology in Mechanical Engineering
• Have experience of product development; development engineering and plastic design
• Have material knowledge for plastics, metal and fabrics.
• Have knowledge and/or experiences in manufacturing/production.
• Have a strong record of project leading experience with ability to plan, organize and prioritize independently and in collaboration with the project team and external suppliers.
• Have good analytical thinking and are solution oriented.
• Have strong communication skills in English (verbal & written) and experience of working in an international environment communicating with external suppliers.
• Works with attention to details and quality.
• Having an experience from retail Industry and/or Visual Merchandising is meritorious
