Are you a formulation specialist? Would you like to apply your expertise to the development of innovative personal care products aiming to improve people's quality of life? Then you might be the person Natumin Pharma is looking for!
Natumin Pharma, now part of Medica Nord, is strengthening their growing research and development (R&D) team by recruiting a formulation scientist to their site in Habo, close to Jönköping, Sweden.
Natumin Pharma develops unique personal care products based on innovative ingredients in combination with extensive research. The products are in the categories of food supplements, Medical Devices, cosmeceuticals and a wide range of skin care products. Natumin Pharma manufactures their products in a top modern production plant that is part of their facilities in Habo. R&D, marketing, logistics and production work closely together in a company where the effort of each individual count.
As part of the R&D team you will work independently to manage and drive both internal and external development projects. Your responsibilities will include:
• Product development, mainly within the areas of dermatology and food supplements.
• Documentation of your work according to GMP regulations
• Be a link between R&D and production and contribute to the transfer of new products to full scale manufacturing
• Work closely with marketing and logistics in the selection of chemicals compounds and suppliers
• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
This is a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible.

Qualifications:
The right candidate has a relevant academic education (eg chemistry, formulation science, galenic pharmacy or similar) and experience in formulation of cream based products and/or tablets according to quality standards is a plus. Experience of GMP is an advantage.
On a personal level you are able to work independently and take responsibility to manage and drive your own projects. You are result focused, able to think outside the box and will meet delivery targets while working on multiple projects simultaneously. As the work is according to GMP it is important that you are structured, work accurately and show excellent documentations skills in accordance with quality regulations. In addition, you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working both independently and in teams. Excellent English, both spoken and in writing, is required and good Swedish is a plus. Personal skills will be highly valued in the selection process.
