POC prides itself on taking ideas from conception through to market and always pushing and testing the boundaries of innovative and technology.If you have couple of years experience in electronic or mechatronic engineering and are interested in hands on productdevelopment and innovative thinking,then the opening as an electronics product developer in POC may be for you.
Tasks
As an electronics engineer, you will work with product development of all POC products, protection gear and safety solutions for both cycling and alpine skiing. You will be involved in both software and hardware development in this role. The work is done in cross-functional teams. Your days vary constantly depending on where in the process you are, which may mean that you read up on a new technology or develop a prototype to test a concept. While another day, you spend working on industrialization, and tasks related to certification and mass production. You will be involved in the products from start to finish.
You will have the opportunity to travel in this role, mainly within Europe and to Far East. You will also visit fairs a few times a year.
Your profile
We believe that the person we are looking for is both practical and theoretical and likes to work with a variety of tasks. You are an entrepreneurial hands on doer, and you are comfortable working in a dynamic environment. As a person, we believe that you are positive, committed to what you do and a good communicator. We believe that a developer that is also a user is a benefit so if you have an interest in alpine skiing, road biking or mountain biking it's a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor in Electronics or Mechatronics with 1-3 years of working experience.
Electronic design, both analog and digital
Programming, Embedded systems
Written and spoken English
It is a bonus if you have the following:
Written and spoken Swedish
Spoken German or Chinese
Certification and Standards for electronics
Experience/Knowledge of App Development iOS
