This is a consulting assignment. You will be employed by Centio Consulting Group AB and work as a consultant.
The position is full-time.
The assignment involves close cooperation with the customer, which places great demands on flexibility and ability to cooperate.
Assignment description
We at are looking for a Product developer to our Marine & Ports business unit for R&D at the hardware department in Västerås. We develop systems for supervision and control of automated container handling.
The success of our automation systems relies on skilled engineers adapting existing technology like lidar and vision sensors to the harsh marine environment in a container terminal. In your role, as a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the HW products located mainly on the cranes. You will work closely together with our Software engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
As a Product developer, you will have a job that includes responsibility, variation, problem solving, technical challenges, a highly skilled team, and an exciting international workplace where sustainability and digitalization are in focus. This role will offer you a great opportunity to grow as well as enhance your personal working career.
This position reports to R&D Hardware Manager.
We are looking for:
A ambitious and will, driven person practically knowledgeable, builds own mopeds, own computer, etc., changes the brakes on the car himself, Electronics, etc. Some knowledge and interest in programming is an asset.
Willing to travel, not afraid of heights!
English, Swedish and preferably more languages
Determined, strong willed"
The startup will be in a Junior, assistant function. Training at the job includes, being able to go to a site and start up cameras, practice at suppliers workshop, write and communicate intelligibly in reports, manuals, instructions, etc.
Education:
Technical high school with experience, YH education, University of Technology engineer, automation, production, mechatronics/robotics or similar.
Possible work tasks:
Assist around camera and video systems development and take over the area in the daily work but still participate in the development work. Participate in some installation and commissioning work at site
Local accommodation or at least commuting distance.
Languages:
English: Proficient
Swedish: Proficient
