hela Sverige Atos Medical was founded in 1986 and today has a vast international network with sales companies in the USA, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Sweden and Switzerland and also exclusive distributors serving about 55 countries. The head office is situated in Hörby, approximately 25 minutes travel from Lund. Atos Medical started the research and development on the first voice prosthesis in 1987 under the name Provox. Throughout the years, Atos Medical has worked to develop Provox as the leading voice and pulmonary rehabilitation system on the market. At the same time, we now allocate substantial development and training resources to our activities in Ear, Nose and Throat. We are 160 employees in Hörby and about 360 in total. The goal is clear: Atos Medical shall lead the way within the entire field of ENT.Atos Medical has over the years been very successful in launching new products within the ENT area. We want to continue developing new, innovative products. To further reinforce our development team we are now looking for a new colleague. As a Product Developer you will be responsible of turning product ideas into final products.
You will be cooperating closely with other departments such as Research, Marketing, Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Quality. In the Engineering department you will have the opportunity creating prototypes, test tools and production aids. You will also have external contacts with clinicians, scientists at universities and consultants, in Sweden as well as worldwide.
Our products (medical devices), single patient use or disposable products, are made of medical grade silicon, polymers or metal and are often patent-protected.
Who are you?
You are a well skilled Product Developer, preferably with a Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanics or Product Development. You are skilled in English both verbal and written. It is an advantage if you are experienced in product development, preferably within medical technology.
You are a results-oriented team player. Flexibility and lack of prestige are characteristics that we highly value in our organization.
