We are now looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our newly established product team within our Core Music Experience product area.
How you will make an impact
We are launching a new product team in the Core Music Experience product area. You will be one of the founding member with a great opportunity to make an impact at an early stage. The team will be responsible for core music experience end-to-end in collaboration with its sister team Music Discovery, on all platforms (web and mobile).
The initial focus as a Product Designer is leading our efforts to create the Epidemic Sound apps.
You will join a small, cross-functional team owning a key space in the Core Music Experience product area.
More specifically, your job will involve, but not be limited to:
• Develop strategies, user understanding, and roadmaps; working with and managing feedback from multiple stakeholders across product teams & executive leadership
• Bring designs to life and communicate your vision to the team using mock-ups, documentation, and prototypes
• Collaborate and work closely with product design leadership and designers across teams
• Establish partnerships with Engineering, Product Management and Product Marketing management to design meaningful, impactful metric-driven solutions
Who you are
To thrive and be successful as a Product Designer at Epidemic Sound, we believe you have a design thinking approach at all times. As you are one of the founding members of a new team, we count on you being the one solving complex problems and taking bold as well as smart decisions to do so. Also, we believe you have a broad range of experiences which shows in your strong intuition and high situational awareness.
It would be music to our ears if you have/are:
• 5+ years of experience in designing apps. Preferably for both iOS and Android.
• Experience with agile processes and design sprints
• Understanding of Google Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Experience with prototyping in tools like Framer/Principle
• Experience with creating and maintaining design systems in Figma/Sketch
• Experience working with consumer-facing products
• Great attention to details
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
