Fueled by a fundamental belief that having access to financial services creates opportunity, PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL) is committed to democratizing financial services and empowering people and businesses to join and thrive in the global economy. Our open digital payments platform gives PayPal's 392 million active account holders the confidence to connect and transact in new and powerful ways, whether they are online, on a mobile device, in an app, or in person. Through a combination of technological innovation and strategic partnerships, PayPal creates better ways to manage and move money, and offers choice and flexibility when sending payments, paying or getting paid. Available in more than 200 markets around the world, the PayPal platform, including Braintree, Venmo and Xoom enables consumers and merchants to receive money in more than 100 currencies, withdraw funds in 56 currencies and hold balances in their PayPal accounts in 25 currencies.

In 2018, iZettle became part of the PayPal family. iZettle is on a mission to help small businesses succeed in a world of giants. Tens of millions of small businesses worldwide are still being underserved by the traditional players. By giving small businesses the tools to get paid, sell smarter, and grow, we're empowering them to reach their full potential. Together with PayPal, we can reach 24 million merchants across the world with more of the affordable tools they need to thrive. Join us in putting an end to the ordinary way the world defines financial freedom.

The Payments Area at iZettle is looking for a product designer with a breadth of experience developing and shipping several products and features. We are responsible for everything that happens during the moment in which buyer and seller "handshake"; or the moment when one is ready to pay and to get paid for goods and services. We strive for seamless, reliable, and smooth experiences with or without our iZettle reader, and universal payment acceptance: online, in-store, and mobile.

As an iZettle product designer, you should be passionate about translating insights and strategies into crafts, by developing products that are desirable, valuable, and recognizable to users. You will bring a broad toolset and hands-on skills to the team, enabling them to look across the wider picture of the user experience. Although we are looking for a person with great attention to detail - and core competencies rooted in interaction, motion, and visual design - you should also be able to look at our products with a holistic/ system mindset, keeping the payments experience consistent across different payment methods.
You will work in partnership and close collaboration with design, tech, and product counterparts on our key initiatives. And since Design is a bridge between product and tech, we expect you to understand the needs of real people, business goals, and technical feasibility to find the right balance between speed of delivery and quality.
As a result of this you should be able to work quickly at different levels of fidelity depending on the context - whether that's demonstrating to the organization what is possible before it's built, or shipping products to the world that our users love.
