Mölnlycke Health Care and The Product Design group within R&D Wound Care is looking to recruit a Product Designer to join our team.
We have several interesting ongoing development projects within wound care, wound healing and wound prevention. We can offer you an exciting and stimulating job with an impact on how to further develop the Product Design group.

Publiceringsdatum2012-04-20Dina arbetsuppgifterThe main purpose with the position is to drive product design in DCS (Develop Customer Solutions) projects with the aim to design new and improved wound care products according to the business strategy.
This includes new properties based on new materials; technologies with the purpose of maintain or reach technical leadership.
Another important part of the work is to create and maintain contacts with users, in order to ensure best possible knowledge of the customer need to be solved.
You will also have the responsibility to ensure that the product design documentation is in compliance with the MDD and other relevant regulations.
Your work assignment will include:
• Continuously search for and propose new solutions to meet customer needs. If possible protect inventions by patent applications to strengthen our competitive position.
• Design new or improved products in order to meet customer demands according to the business strategy
• Coordinate all laboratory activities in order to verify and validate the design of the product
• Create and maintain contacts with users in hospitals in order to ensure best possible knowledge of the customer need to be solved
• Create and maintain contacts with suppliers of materials, technology in order to ensure best available input to develop technical solutions
Utbildning/erfarenhet
The successful applicant is a team player with the ability to cooperate in a professional way and to deliver on time. You have an academic background within engineering (Bachelor or Master Degree) or corresponding experience and minimum 3 years experience from Medical Device or ChemTech industry is considered a merit.
You have a strong drive and are very customer-oriented.
