As a Product Designer at Tacton, your primary contribution will be to enhance the way our customers and users experience and interact with our product. Working closely with our product teams, you will play an important part all the way from discovery to delivery. This means that you will help explore and shape the problem space in close collaboration with product management and engineering in order to design desirable and usable solutions which help our customers and users succeed.
As part of our growing Product Design team, you will get the opportunity to make your mark on how we at Tacton apply good design practices to our industry-leading CPQ solution. In this role you will work closely and report to Erik Davidsson, our VP Product Design.
What you will do
• Facilitate problem and solution discovery work using effective design methodologies and techniques.
• Conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on product designs.
• Ensure consistency and maintain the visual design language and style guide across all products and platforms.
• Actively contribute to new processes and ways of thinking in an evolving design team.
• Craft well-designed product enhancements shipped to customers.
• Build interactive design prototypes ranging from low to high fidelity to be tested with key users and stakeholders.
• Document outcomes based on product discovery work shared with the product team and other stakeholders.
• Document design guidelines and standards shared with the product and technology teams.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years' experience in product design or user experience design roles.
• A strong portfolio of work demonstrating your design skills and process.
Nice to have
• Associate's degree or Diploma of Higher Vocational Education in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or similar fields.

• You enjoy leveraging your creative ability and critical thinking to uncover intuitive solutions to challenging problems.
• A collaborative environment is where you feel at home, seeking frequent interaction with product management and engineering to achieve a successful end-result. This means being comfortable with an iterative design process that includes accepting and acting on feedback.
• You have a background in designing digital products, with a strong understanding of good design practices.
• You can clearly communicate your design decisions to help teammates understand your rationale but also help expand the broader design competence of the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken in English . English is our language of work.
