In short
As a Product Designer at Detectify, your goal is to deliver the best possible experience for our customers. Your main focus will be to work closely with a cross-functional product team to solve the customer needs in a specific area together with the product manager and engineers. We believe that it goes both ways, and by collaborating and conducting the design process together with engineers we can go even faster and be more efficient.
You'll be a part of shaping our design process, pushing for user-centricity and embracing a data driven mindset in product teams. As a Product Designer you will have a real impact on a product that's really standing out and take ownership of your domain. Did we mention that you'll get to work with hackers as well?
The Priority & Remedy Team
We are looking for a Product Designer to join our cross functional team called Priority and Remedy. Their mission is to help our customers understand, triage and fix the vulnerabilities found by our security scanner. They also make sure our customers are getting a fast feedback loop, by offering numerous integrations like Slack, Jira and Trello.
The team loves working in close collaboration and lives and breathes modern agile principles. They are committed to constantly delivering value to our customers as well as having an experimental mindset to make sure we as a company learn rapidly and are always thinking of how we can solve real user problems and thereby increase the value of our platform.
Apart from being part of a crossfunctinal engineering team in your day-to-day work, you will also be part of the Detectify community of designers in the Product Design team. The Product Design team at Detectify works as a central function as well as integrated in the product teams. The team focuses on keeping our products consistent by maintaining and building out the design system as well as conducting user research to help set the overall product strategy. We believe that all designers at Detectify play a key role in the foundation of the design strategy and culture we are building. Therefore, we are looking for a Product Designer that can help us deliver amazing user experiences in one of the product teams, while also supporting the central functions of the design team.
What you'll do as a Product Designer
As Product Designer at Detectify you will have ownership of a domain with freedom to impact where to take that domain from a design perspective. You will, together with your cross-functional product team, work to convey, and adapt to, the user needs in collaboration with the product manager and engineers. You will be a strong advocate for design thinking, and bring your knowledge and practices to your product team,
You will also:
Gather insights to understand user needs and behaviours through user research and quantitative methods such as A/B tests
Communicate these insights to the product team and translate into creative and inspiring solutions to customer problems
Create, communicate and iterate on user flows, wireframes or prototypes with different stakeholders
Work closely with the product team to support implementation and make sure that the designs are built for scale
Collaborate with your peers in the Product Design team, help keep consistency across the Detectify platform and move us closer to our jointly defined design vision
Who are we looking for?
To thrive in this role and at Detectify, we believe that you have a couple of years of experience from end-to-end UX/UI design and leading discovery activities. You like to take responsibility for the end to end design process, and work with data to make decisions and iterate on solutions. You will work closely with your team, stakeholders and your fellow designers and you embrace feedback from peers and other team members and you like to work in a collaborative way. Furthermore you are a good communicator, who can confidently interpret and understand the needs of the customer.
We also believe that you have experience in creating, structuring and implementing your own ideas and from that you have worked with:
Designing complex systems, ideally in a B2B context
Design systems, as a tool to increase pace and consistency
Design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD or similar
User research methods, qualitative and quantitative
Agile development principles

This position is for the Stockholm Office. We're flexible when it comes to working from home or at the office, but would prefer if you are able to pop into the office every now and then. For tax reasons we need you to be located in Sweden, and we are more than happy to help you relocate.
