hela Sverige Are you an experienced Business Controller that wants to work in the automotive industry? Do you consider yourself a team player with great problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset? Right now we are looking for a Product Cost Controller to our client in the Automotive industry.
About the role
The main objective of the role is to control the variable cost of the cars. This is divided into two different stages.
The first stage includes the following:
• Set up and drive the monthly process follow up of material cost and analysis of: o Issue-to-issue
• Raw material index impact
• Commercial negotiations
• Design changes
• Working closely with the Transfer Price controller in understanding impact of above into the selling price from the plant
• Identify cost drivers and address them internally
The second stage includes:
• Identifying best-practice and drive the chosen process of following variable cost
The position is a consultancy assignment that stretches until the end of the year, with a possibility for prolongation.
About you
To be suited for this role we believe that you have/are:
• Bachelor 's degree in business administration (or similar)
• 5 years relevant work experience, Business Control preferably in automotive company
• Strong business acumen and very good analytical skills
• Very strong in excel/data handling tools
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting financial information and communicating the information in a clear and concise manner
• Fluent in English
