Team introduction
My name is Mattias Rosenkvist and I am leading the Handheld Electrical Tools Team at the Engineering Department, R&D. The team consist of 11 people, and is technically responsible for Atlas Copco's handheld electrical tools on market. We have a great team with broad competence and the attitude to always be there for each other as well as our customers and other stakeholders.
Our products are used worldwide and both the customers and Atlas Copco are depending on our ability deliver high quality solutions to meet their needs.

About the job
In the role as product coordinator, you will prioritize and distribute tasks within our team. You will review, coordinate and plan the engineering changes on our products to make sure they are implemented in production in a time- and cost effective way. You will drive communication between designers, production, suppliers and other stakeholders to make the designers in the team be able to focus on designing. As product coordinator you will report the workload of the team and the progress of the change implementations to the team manager. An important part of the work will be to drive continuous improvements of our engineering change control process.
Depending on your background you will also be driving small projects, making investigations or contribute in the design work.
What you need to succeed
To succeed as a product coordinator you need some years of experience from product development or production. You are familiar with engineering change processes and if your background is within development, you need a good understanding of production and industrialization and vice versa. To coordinate the design changes within the team you will need both organizational skills and the ability communicate across many functional areas.
As a person, you are a team player that helps and encourages your colleagues as well as being eager to learn from others. You can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have a can do attitude. You take responsibility of your deliveries.
Experience from industrial electromechanical products is considered a merit.
Education
You hold a technical university degree within Mechanical Engineering, production or equivalent.
