Product Structure is a dynamic team with lots of contacts both in and outside Sweden, which sometimes even lead to travelling. The group is in the middle of the delivery flow at the global department for Bus development, with responsibility for Scania buses as well as component deliveries (chassis). The department has operations in Sweden, Brazil, India, Poland and Finland.
Lots of people care about buses. Electric propulsion is our most important challenge right now. Electricity is a flaming hot technical area, with a broad impact on the society we all live in and our mutual future, health etc. Another challenge is Scanias own buses. New centralized responsibility opens for further optimizing of customer value, environmental foot-print etc.
Your assignment
Your main task is to in cooperation with the designer build, maintain, develop and secure quality of Scania's product structures. The product structure is a database, that describes what parts are included in the bus, depending on when it is built and the customer order spec. To be successful you need an active cooperation with designers colleagues, project management and users of the information.
You get a unique overview and skill in analyzing how our buses are built-up. Because of these skills others will turn to you for help how to find the information they're looking for.

Your profile
You have a university degree in technology, alternatively corresponding work experience, and an interest for technology and product development. You have good helpful work relations, and also get the input you need yourself. You are target oriented, and also get the details right. You are self-going and also a team player. You get the decisions you need based on facts. Good knowledge in both Swedish and English is important.
