In line with digitalization and Industry 4.0, our Digital Machining Business department plays a key role in leading our strategic direction. Empowered by our core machining knowledge, we explore new market opportunities and create unique digital solutions for software and hardware. Driving one of the most important strategic initiatives for Sandvik Coromant, we strive to position ourselves as a digital groundbreaker in the metal cutting industry.
Your mission
As Product Coordinator within Digital Machining Business, you manage our portfolio of digital embedded hardware systems which include a broad range - from digital sensors to electronics and digital devices - all requiring careful life cycle management and coordination. With your strategic planning competence, you work with portfolio planning and product information models within our existing software systems where product data is stored. You are also actively involved in internal projects, as well as with external suppliers, and contribute to development projects by securing product delivery and embedded systems meeting specified requirements. Through joint forces with internal partners such as R&D, IT, Marketing and Sales, you deliver key product information enabling successful introductions of our new digital products and support existing offer.
Further, you are responsible for handling overall delivery strategy and legal demands for the digital embedded systems, including coordination of certification and version handling with external partners. You also harmonize product data information for the entire Digital CoroPlus offer, to secure input to our order-to-delivery process and our customers.
As Digital Product Coordinator, you report to the Manager for Digital Machining Business and are based in Sandviken or Stockholm, Sweden.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with relevant experience and training, and who's previously been working with product management, product logistics and product information. You are genuinely interest in the journey of digitalization and Industry 4.0, and it is beneficial if you are experienced in product or project management and have experience from working in a manufacturing industry. We also consider experience within digital products and market demands advantageous. As we act in an international setting, you need to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
