We currently have the following job opening;
Product Configuration Manager
Product Documentation at CEVT is responsible for establishing the product program logic and rules for the platform and its projects. This is then broken down into BOM's of parts, meaning building part structures and release it for use. We work operational for the project and we support the engineers in the release and change management processes. We are also responsible of drawing checking and is currently building up this function at CEVT. We have internal customers almost within every area.
As a product configuration manager you will work in the Product Documentation department with establishing the variant rules and conditions for the car projects. It is a logic, administrative work but it takes a lot of communication and coordination with engineers, design, marketing and BOM-coordinators to get it right. The result is used for building cars in different specifications correctly at every point in time. You have to like teamwork and you need to be proactive as well as solution driven to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Establish Product Configuration logic and rules - Build the product program platform wise
- Establish variant families and variant codes (configuration features and language)
- Establish variant rules from technical, legal and marketing perspective
- Establish Control Models for each project
- Contribute in change management of product program (CCR process)
- Contribute/Establish in continuous improvement of our processes, tools and methods
- Senior advisor for how to variant control Product Program and Parts in an efficient way

Experience from Automotive, Configuration management and Team Center is preferred.
