Volvo Cars Purchasing is ultimately responsible for the selection of all Volvo Cars suppliers and has the responsibility for the procurement of all production material and services to Volvo Cars.
The supply of materials and services- to the right quality, in the right quantity and on time- is essential to the smooth running of the company and to match our customer's expectations.
Volvo Cars Purchasing is ultimately responsible for the selection of all Volvo Cars suppliers and has the responsibility for the procurement of all production material and services to Volvo Cars. Purchasing team Interior and Climate is responsible for direct material to Volvo Cars Plants. We purchase material to advanced projects, new projects and running production for all VCC;s manufacturing plants. Interior's main areas are "Seats and Restraints", "Cockpit and Climate" and "Interior trim".
One of our employees within Interior Trim will leave for another
challenging task, why we now are looking for a new Product Buyer for Door Panels.
Job Description:
Participate in the establishment of Commercial Agreements
Issue purchase orders and make other transactions, updates and reports
Handle the commercial issues related to Change Management
Establish action plans on part-specific supplier issues in running
business
Give input on pre-requisites for development of future supplier
Co-operate within VCC and globally within Ford Motor Company (FMC) in cross-functional teams to develop and utilise strategies to maximise corporate synergies
Strive to attain constant improvements and increase efficiency by e.g.establishing a supplier base in accordance to VCC/FMC overall strategies.
Profile qualifications:
Commercial and negotiation experience, very good knowledge in english, excellent computer skills.
Technical knowledge / experience is a merit
