Then you should join our Prototype Purchasing and Procurement Team, with the specific mission of procuring parts from Volvo Group internal suppliers.
Product Builds is a global organization providing all Volvo Group Trucks Brands and Business Areas with the prototypes needed for the assessment of new products and technologies. Of course building a prototype requires a lot of existing parts, everything cannot be new, and this is where you will play an important role.
When product development engineers select an existing component to be assembled in a new product, they will ask you to find it somewhere in the Volvo Group's many locations: distribution centres, factories or other prototype workshops. You will need to dig into many systems and to contact your colleagues around the world to verify availability. Your main focus is to secure that parts are delivered on time to the right place.
You are an active member of the Prototype Purchasing and Procurement team and contribute energetically to the improvement and development of the group.

We are looking for somebody with:
Good communication skills and positive mind-set
Experience in procurement or delivery control
Strong interest in developing relationships with stakeholders
Good computer skills (comfortable with all Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel)
Excellent spoken and written English
Swedish language knowledge is considered an advantage
Experience with Volvo procurement systems will be helpful (R-help, CPO, Netparts, GPS)
