Product Builds within Complete Vehicle, is the global organization preparing and delivering the prototype builds to Group Trucks Technology. We lead the cross functional work from an order received until the project build is delivered to the customer according to agreement, supported by a quick and effective logistic supply chain. Our skilled and engaged teams are located in Gothenburg, Lyon, Greensboro, Hagerstown, Curitiba, Bangalore and Ageo.
Position Summary
We are looking for our future colleague who wants to be part of developing the powertrains of tomorrow. As a Product Build Project Leader you plan and actively lead the cross-functional work within projects, to ensure that the physical test objects needed for the verification and validation in the Product Development Projects in Powertrain are delivered in time and with the right quality. The test objects are assembled either in the production plant or in the internal workshops. You take an active part in the Engineering Project Management Team and report to the Project Manager Engineering and to your line organization. You will work closely with project managers, technology leaders, prototype purchasing teams, assembly functions as well as the development and verification teams.

What we are looking for?
To be able to take on this challenge successfully, we believe that you possess the following skills and competencies:
• Master of Science in relevant field (or equivalent)
• Experience from Product Development within the automotive industry
• You have been working as a Project leader or are an experienced Project Coordinator
• You are fully comfortable with the Microsoft office tools
• As a test object build involves a lot of procurement and logistics activities, it is beneficial to have a good understanding of those fields
• Being a spider in the web, and part of a global organization it is important to have good communication skills and to be fluent in English, both spoken and written
• We believe that you have a customer oriented mindset delivering complete high quality solutions that creates customer value
• As we are solving small and big problems, often starting with limited information, we believe you are pragmatic, driven and always open to learn new things
• We have a strong emphasis on collaboration and sharing - so we expect you are a team player with the ability to build and maintain good relationships
