Product Attribute Manager
As a Product Attribute Manager you will be responsible for the definition and target setting for our future cars from a commercial and market perspective. You will have a key focus on strategic attributes such as Connectivity, HMI and Electrification. Your input will be used as the highest level of request for how our new tophats should be defined.
You will also be responsible for the Car Line Management function in detailing how those products should be defined and maintained over the lifecycle. This includes making strategic investigations regarding customer, brand and business needs of these attributes for the future products as well as monitoring the customer and market development. In your work you will have a lot of interaction with our internal organization as well as internal functions in developing the strategic product attribute needs for the brand.
Responsibilities and tasks
You will be the owner and guardian of the product attribute request which forms part of the product request developed by the team. A special focus and competence is needed for the key brand relevant attributes Connectivity, HMI and Electrification. In this you will have to maintain a high level of knowledge and foresight on how these attributes are defined and delivered in an automotive product as well as how we can develop them within the LYNK & CO brand promise. Develop product requests and definitions for the cycle plan based on customer, brand, business and market strategies.
Own and drive the PAP (Product Attribute Profile) request towards the product development functions.
Secure requests for new development as well as the continued competitiveness of the current product-lines over the lifecycle.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Marketing & Engineering in combination, Industrial Engineering and Management or similar experience.
- Experience from product strategy or portfolio management of complex consumer products and service offers
- Ability to transform customer and market needs and wants into product attribute requests and requirements
- Very strong excel and business analytical skills, financial focus, customer value understanding
- The ability to intellectually move quickly between discussions on numbers, customers, products and business will be valuable
- Strong analytical skills
- A keen sense of business and how to manage a complex offer structure in a highly competitive consumer market is vital.
