Job Description
As a Product Area Technical Engineer in the Customer Commerce Delivery Team you will work with the holistic view of the whole product area. This includes understanding of all aspects of operations from both a process perspective (Problem/incident management and monitoring) as well as the technical view from a platform perspective (tech stack from Hybris, Adobe, Azure, Akamai) and infrastructure.
Apart from the operations aspects, Customer Commerce Delivery Product Area also have enabling teams focusing on analytics, core stack development, cloud, infra, performance engineering, release management, quality assurance, automated testing, test data management and security.
You will be working closely with the Product Area Lead Engineer as well as the Product Area Manager to ensure that the whole area succeed with the technical vision. This done through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with an extensive use of automation and capacitating the teams.in
The role
You will work to enable the teams to achieve their product vision, while still ensuring operations. In the Customer Commerce Delivery area, you will be closely involved with the whole software development lifecycle, design, development, architecture, test, release and maintenance and translates business needs into working software. Regardless of area, tools or languages, a technical engineer builds and configures solutions that are easy to maintain and change, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. The Product Area Engineer will help push change towards an architecture and operations set-up that is aligned with the H&M Business Tech Product Teams vision.
Your main tasks
• Run, build, optimize, manage and develop the architectural landscape together with product teams and stakeholders.
• Participation and lead in further advancements in cloud, platform architecture, and automation
• Do technical and architectural analysis of requirements and impact analysis
• Use an experimental approach to identify, assess and recommend alternative design options which take target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems into account
Qualifications
• Extensive experience in working with IT/system/solution in preferably large, international organizations working with cloud solutions (preferably Azure), API's, Agile, and Devops
• Having a good understanding of retail and e-commerce
• Experience working with different architectural viewpoints to identify and understand their dependencies
• Experience from using SAFe or other agile methods is an advantage
• A great team player
• Fluent in English (Swedish is a bonus)
