Trelleborg Engineered Systems is currently looking for a Product Area Controller within Business Unit Marine Systems. The role will be part of the management team within Product Area Marine Systems, reporting to the Product Area President, responsible for managing a global organization with clearly defined ownership regarding results, business development and processes. The product area has approximately 225 employees and a turnover of 90 MEUR. The product area operates a global sales- and engineering organization with more than 10 offices marketing fender and mooring systems for harbours. The job is planned to be located in Trelleborg but might be subject to discussion and will require extensive travel
Main responsibilities and tasks will include:
• Lead the control and development of the administrative and financial processes within the product area
• Coach and develop the administrative and finance teams
• Prepare and present monthly management reports within the product area
• Drive the development of key metrics and steering models for the organization
• Take active part in the commercial activities and provide insightful analysis
• Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process as well as strategic planning
• Secure the internal control environment and ensure alignment with the group standards and principles
• Take active part in the investment analysis
Candidate profile
You have a successful track record of administration and business control in an international environment. You have a university degree in business administration and economics with 5 years of relevant experience. You are used to work independently in a highly decentralized organization. You have an international experience and mindset. You are fluent in both oral and written English.
You are a structured individual with an analytical capacity, ambitious with a powerful self-drive and you have the ability to see the big picture. You are a communicative person with good ability to build relationships and you are used to delegate with a good sense for coaching. You possess the ability to arouse enthusiasm and you have a high sense of integrity and a sound judgement.
