We are now looking for two Product Application Managers for Product Unit Turning to join us on an exciting journey. The location for these positions is Sandviken, Sweden, and travelling is a natural part of your job.
The Turning Product Applications department contribute in developing market leading turning products and application methods. We work together in teams where the Product Application Manager collect, develop and share metal cutting knowledge, focusing on the area of turning.
Your mission
As a Product Application Manager, you support the organization with extensive product and application knowledge through trainings, as well as being involved in the development of new products and methods. A large portion of the job is conducted within our global network, especially managing tasks as collecting customer needs, identifying market requirements and forecasting future trends. In addition, you provide high quality technical information and support to develop trainings, and you also support product introductions.
In this role, you collaborate closely with R&D, Product Management, Marketing, Sales and, most importantly, our customers.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in a relevant field, or the equivalent knowledge gained from working within technical sales, product development or elsewhere within the metal cutting industry. You have a genuine interest in, and a deep technical understanding of, metal cutting, along with thorough knowledge of turning as an application area. Experience of CAM is an advantage, and we also place great value on your strong business acumen. This position involves many international contacts and some business travels, which requires fluency in spoken and written English.

With your understanding of team performance, you easily motivate people around you and create an environment based on commitment and trust. Naturally, you are also self-driven and have the ability to prioritize assignment to achieve results.
