Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The objective for the Finance and Business Control function, is to support and enable profitable and cost-efficient business activities that deliver customer value, volume and margin targets within Sales and Marketing. The department is responsible for navigate through performance analysis and follow-up Sales and Marketing's global activities/business areas in order to support operations to initiate corrective actions. The function carries out several activities including business controlling, analysis, accounting and reporting as well as inventory records. The position is placed at Scania Head Quarters in Södertälje.

We are now looking for an ambitious person to work as an Inventory and Product Controller Parts & Services. You love business and you have a passion for translating business figures, financial and non-financial, to activities for profitability improvements.

As a controller you will have an important role to drive change and business navigation. Your work will make a difference in how we create value for customers, share-holder as well society.

Work responsibilities and environment

• You will be responsible for the whole process, from setting target to analysing results.
• Coordinating activities and collaborating with product managers and supply controllers to improve and focus on profitability.
• We are implementing SAP in our logistic process and you will be a key person in regards to the interface between SAP and our finance systems
• Month end analysis is a part of the assignment.We work across the globe which makes an interest in and understanding of different business environment essential. You will report to the Head of Parts & Services Controlling and will be part of a team responsible for controlling Parts & Service Business at Sales and Marketing.

Who are you?
We are looking for an ambitious person with financial skills and proven track record to challenge and influence an organisation with sustainable results. As a person you are thorough, organized and have the readiness to challenge the current situation or process step by step. You have the capability to convert needs into clear goals and deliveries for both yourself and surrounding interfaces. We believe that you are business-minded with the ability to analyze big data volumes, see the main results and convert that into pedagogic communication material. In order to reach out and have impact you have strong communication skills.

You can have experience from a business analyst or financial controller role and you are ready for the next step in order to drive change and navigation.

You have a MSc in Business Administration or engineering with relevant work experience from business process analysis and improvement. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written and as well as basic Swedish (you know tjaba and fika). An appetite and competence for learning, utilizing and improving existing IT-tools will make you more comfortable in the role. Of course, you want to have fun at work too.
