Our Exciting Opportunity
Solution Area Cloud and Network Function Virtualization (SACL) is looking for a results-oriented Strategic Product Manager with financial focus. We develop and delivers cloud infrastructure solutions mainly for Telecom applications, both Ericsson and 3rd parties.
The Cloud infrastructure is based on Open Stack for Virtual Machines and Kubernetes for Containers (both bare metal deployment and in virtual machines). The key value of the solutions is that they are system verified, allowing Ericsson to be able to take an end-to-end solution responsibility for the full infrastructure, securing the performance of demanding Telecom workloads. The infrastructure meets the operator demand for both growing the current virtualized core as well as introducing cloud native 5G Core workloads.
You will
Work in the interface between Product Management, Technical Sales Support, Financial control, and Strategy.
Work with the short- and long-term Solution area business case and financial plan
Have contact with Product Management, Sales Readiness and MA & Customer units (Sales)
Be responsible for maintaining input to the long-term financial plan using bottom-up analysis. This in addition to working with Sales Support & Sales Readiness to create a picture for the near-term financial forecasts.
Have input to pricing, value packs and TCO comparisons
To be successful in the role you must have
Academic degree, Master of Science, MBA or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in financial modelling
Interest in technology in general and Cloud Infrastructure and Telecom Applications in particular. Our expectation is also that the applicant will, over time, broaden responsibilities and tasks into product management and/or Technical Sales Support and Domain Sales Management
At least 5 years proven experience in the Telecom field
Cloud and telecom domain knowledge
Strong business understanding
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
High agility, ability to work in an uncertain and dynamic environment
