Are you an Product Planner who are looking for new challenges in a young and laid back company, located in Dublin? Adecco has got the job for you!
You will work with the buyers, distribution staff and store staff to ensure appropriate stocking levels are created and maintained for all products. Further, you will assist buyers with managing product life cycles. In this role you will also manage logistics behind store restock schedules, department sales rankings, and new release and restock product stock levels. Ensures products are staged and sent out for return to vendors for both defective and recall items.
Main responsibilities
Constantly stays in contact with field operations concerning upcoming store openings and communicates that information to buying staff as necessary to effect purchases.
Establishes new store plans/scheduling for all product allocation.
Establishes allocation goals for in stock percentages on top product and hardware.
Establishes and manages planning for seasonal sales curves (holidays and Christmas).
Establishes and manages goals for monthly product life cycle management.
Establishes and manages goals for monthly defectives and recalls flow-out (RTV management).
Assists Merchandising Manager and Distribution Manager in the creation of goals and timetables for prioritizing product shipments.
Understands all freight transit times for each store in addition to restock schedule. Utilizes this information in all daily decisions regarding outbound shipments.
Creates maintains and evaluates life cycle tables to ensure all product types are scaled correctly across the differing store sales volumes by department.
Analyzes all restock activity (demand reports) every morning to ensure nothing unexpected is occurring.
Daily ensures that automated maintenance is run, evaluated and implemented and also daily evaluates top products for out-of-stock scenarios.
Your qualifications
You have a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience within the area.Since you will be working in a Nordic team you have to be able to speak and write both English and Swedish fluently.
Your ability to read,analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and/or governmental regulations is high. You can write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Further more, you can effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Facts about the position
The position as Product Analyst is located in our client's office in Dublin, close to the airport. You will start as soon as possible and it is a full time job. You will be employed by our client.
