Who we are
Trucks Product Planning as a team have the global responsibility to drive the direction of Scania's product development based on customers' and Scania's profitability. Our working environment is characterized by high integrity, a flat hierarchy and collective leadership. We are the customers' voice when Scania make product development decisions.
We aim to be the principle actor in translating Scania's corporate strategies and sales strategies into product strategies that ensure that we are competitive in the marketplace also in years to come. We are a cross-functional team dealing with internal Scania departments, the global distributor network as well as with key customers.
What we do
We formulate product demands, either based on customer application or on product area, and always focused on what drives profitability for our customers. We prioritize among these demands, and share this priority with Scania R&D, aiming to create a well-balanced product development project portfolio. We continue to support product development projects and ensure that all decisions down the road are made with clear analyses of both technical and customer implications.
What you will do
As Product Analyst you will be a key member in the product planning team, working in a dynamic, exciting and global cross-functional environment. You role will be mainly to support our Product Planning Managers in analytical activities. This means that you will be working very broadly in many different product areas focusing on specific tasks. Primarily you will analyse the commercial effects of possible product development decisions. Also you will lead many investigations for short term product demands. Your analyses will allow the Product Planning Managers to make well founded decisions.
Who you are
We look for someone who wants to learn about our customers, make use of a sharp analytical mind and grow within Sales and Marketing and Product Management. To work with short deadlines and a multitude of challenges is a source of inspiration for you. You enjoy a high paced working environment, you are strong in time management and you have a good ability of initiative. You are a team player who can easily cooperate and communicate with different stake holders.
You likely have a Master's Degree in Engineering, Management or equivalent. You are probably in your first professional position looking for the next challenge. General whole vehicle experience and knowledge of Scania's R&D process is very appreciated. Any previous interaction with customers and/or Scania's sales organisation is valuable.
