Aurobay is looking for a Procurement Sustainability Manager. As our Procurement Sustainability Manager, you will be our business owner with the responsibility to lead, develop and execute our global procurement sustainability strategy and support the business in operationalizing it in functional strategies and plans, to ensure sustainable and responsible sourcing practices globally.

What will you do?
In your role as Procurement Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for the development and management, monitoring, and promotion of our responsible sourcing practices globally, coaching and cooperating with all stakeholders in our organization. You will work closely with both the Central Sustainability Team as well as our buyers to implement our sustainability strategy, ensuring an environmentally and socially responsible supply chain. In your position you will develop and coordinate the sustainability processes at Procurement and:
• Establish, manage and assume business ownership, of the Procurement sustainability strategy. Responsible for the consolidation, reconciliation, and preparation of procurement sustainability status.
• Lead and monitor procurement related sustainability activities, both with internal stakeholders and towards our ecosystem to develop the Aurobay business.
• Facilitate and coordinate Procurement Sustainability awareness along the Supply Chain.
• As area expert support and coach the procurement teams in supplier assessments, management and collaboration work, e.g. during qualification and screening analysis.
• Drive and facilitate follow-up of supplier corrective actions, verify continuous implementation with buyers and suppliers.
• Regular monitoring of trends, policies and upcoming standards and legislation with respect to the area.
• Contribute to work process development, secure implementation and monitor compliance according to delegations, including management information and site training.
• In cooperation with the Aurobay Group Sustainability organization:
• Be the procurement representative in cross functional Aurobay sustainability development, par cross-functionally aligned planning and follow-up of supplier sustainability development.
• Cooperate with our Group Global Procurement Sustainability and Risk Teams.
Do you fit the profile?
We think you have an academic degree, or the equivalent working experience, but most importantly we are looking for a person with a vision, the needed skills and mindset. We also think you have an understanding and experience of
• Responsible sourcing, environmental and CSR work in a business context
• Environmental standards (ISO 14001) and social responsibility (e.g. SA 8000, SMETA, ISO45001) as well as basic competence in ISO/IATF-16949
• Supplier sustainability performance assessments and analyses
• Experience from establishing and implementing sustainability transformational strategies and plans.
• Previous project leadership or management experience.
• A background from procurement, as a buyer, as well as experience/knowledge with CDP and RMI will be a meritous qualification.
We believe you have:
• A genuine, burning, interest in sustainability and the ability to visualize the values it brings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Credible and persuasive.
• An agile mindset as well as a business and procurement process understanding, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Experience from implementation projects and from sustainability audit process.
• Solution oriented, analytical, driven, ability to see potential of improvement in daily operations and business.
• High business acumen and the ability to translate theory into action.
