About the job
We are now looking for an experienced procurement specialist, also with experience of supplier relations.
Some main duties are:
>work with current suppliers to ensure agreements are honoured and risk mitigation
>conduct new sourcing and benchmarking
>negotiate price agreements to obtain best cost for the business
>Analysing and suggesting potential improvements
As our suppliers are mainly located in China and Shanghai region you should be able and willing to travel to that region.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
> be fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
> complete understanding of Chinese business culture
> excellent in communication and analytical skills
> an appropriate university degree in Procurement management
> strong business judgement with a track record of successfully leading negotiations and overall supplier relationship management with senior level counterparts.
>minimum of 5 years experience in sourcing/purchase environment, preferable within commercial printing field.
