Software & Electronics team, Global Procurement
What we offer
SW & Electronics team in global procurement is expanding to support Volvo's commitment for autonomous driving, digitalization and personalization.
We have two Procurement Solution Manager positions to offer!
As Procurement Solution Manager you will work with our future and secure the pre-requisites for it; future technologies, future projects, future suppliers, future organizational set up. You will work holistically and secure Volvo Cars and Procurement 's pre-requisites to enable the business disruptions needed.
The SW & Electronics department work across different Solutions - In Car Digital, Connected Car, Autonomous Drive and Base Software, for the PSMs there are no real boundaries, going forward software will be everywhere!
In this role, you will take ownership of
• Lead the strategic work early with stakeholders to secure the best Electrical platform and SW set up for the future, by innovative electrical integration architecture, smart AD/ADAS/Digital solutions to find the ways to increase value for Volvo Cars - including cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Be a disruptor and change-maker, work to understand the world around you and educate your peers and the global category teams on new facts and maximize and influence the opportunity that technology disruption brings for Volvo Cars.
• Dare to question status quo or decided routes with stakeholders, suppliers, people; and work proactively to build better understanding and work towards common optimized solutions.
• Lead the work to have sustainable business over time.
You will work in a cross functional team to develop a close and collaborative relationship with your suppliers and stakeholders.
Very strong business acumen is a given, as well as a very strong background or interest in the technical landscape.
You are a natural influencer and have strong commitment to shape results in ambiguous contexts.

You are a resilient self-starter who is at ease operating in an international changing technology environment. You should possess excellent networking skills and be a natural influencer, across functional and geographical boundaries, with the confidence to engage and communicate with senior management.

Do you fit the profile?
You have a commercial or technical university degree, or equivalent work experience.
Experience from electric architecture HW & SW design or equivalent is preferred.
