PROJECT SOURCING GROUP is a team within the Stoneridge Electronics company Procurement organization. We work closely with Design and Development, Project Management and the Operations teams. Project Sourcing Group has a global responsibility for material share negotiations in new business quotations, project sourcing activities within new development projects and coordination of supplier related changes in existing projects. Our cross-border team is located in Sweden, Estonia and Mexico and we work closely with over 50 strategic suppliers located across the globe.
We are looking for a Procurement Project Manager who will be responsible for strategic and operational sourcing within a defined commodity area (Electronics, Displays, Plastics, PCBs, Metal stampings/Die casting or Harnesses). The responsibilities include leading and coordinating Procurement activities within Development Project (Launch Project) and Develop Existing Project (Sustaining Engineering).

• Executing overall Project Sourcing activities to secure sustainable performance in terms of cost, quality, environmental, risk management and logistical solution and complete defined Procurement activities within the SRE Gate Matrix:
• define and secure targets for cost (TAC), quality, environmental and logistics,
• calculate and summarize material share on the products in the project,
• secure material for prototype builds and ramp up/phase out,
• secure supplier selection according Procurement processes and Commodity strategies,
• secure Lean philosophy implementation,
• secure second source target,
• continuously look for cost improvements during Project life time,
• participate and secure Procurement inputs in the Quotation process for new projects,
• visit partners/suppliers on a regular basis to ensure closed loop communication and internal feedback of ongoing customer requirements,
• ensure communication and collaboration with all internal and external elements of the business, providing pro-active and dynamic progress going forward within the business.
