We are now looking for a Procurement Partner / Sourcing Manager for a consultant assignment at AstraZeneca that with start in August that will go on until December with possibility for extension.

Publiceringsdatum2016-07-06Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a Procurement Partner you will partner with Business Management (GRAPSQA) to identify and define future outsourcing opportunities. You will be working with the Chair of GRAPSQA Sourcing Strategic Steering Committee to develop and maintain the Sourcing roadmap and with Business Leaders and members of the Outsourcing Management Team to define the scope of outsourcing initiatives, including boundaries of what is being outsourced, service level expectations, benefits and risks of outsourcing and financial business case leading to effective decision making by the Business. You will additionally be working with Procurement Global Category Manager for GRAPSQA to ensure that new outsourcing initiatives are developed in line with AZ Procurement principles and requirements. You will cooperate with Internal business leaders, Project team members, Finance Department, Procurement Department and External suppliers / agencies.
Typical Accountabilities as a Procurement Partner will be to:
• Provide sourcing expertise to Strategic Sourcing Steering Committee
• Support development of strategic sourcing plan
• Evaluate outsourcing opportunities
• Work with global business teams to define the scope of outsourcing initiatives
• Helping the business to describe the extent of outsourcing, the expectations on the supplier and the service standard required
• Contribute to the development, and drive implementation, of operational plans to achieve outsourcing strategy objectives
• Support effective business decision making by ensuring that the risks of Business Process Outsourcing are effectively evaluated
• Evaluate bids for outsourcing initiatives
• Work with Procurement Global Category Lead
• Ensure Procurement processes and Supplier Management are implemented in line with policies, procedures and standards
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a Degree or equivalent professional qualification, Oral and written fluency in Business English, the Ability to leverage a range of influencing techniques, Professional Procurement Qualification, Procurement or Process management experience, Understanding of the deliverables and processes, Supplier Management experience, Proven ability to manage change, Strong analytical skills, Good working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and Proven ability to work with business to scope outsourcing initiatives to enable effective business decisions on whether/how to proceed. Additionally you have excellent Communication skills and ability to influence others and are used to strong stakeholder management in a customer facing role, partnering to achieve jointly agreed objectives.
