The success in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods market depends on being in the right place at the right time, with the right message to convince the consumer. This is a field where the sales and marketing teams work together with the procurement team to secure a desired outcome of activities by buying needed services and products.
About this role:
As a Procurement Officer you secure a good co-operation with the marketing suppliers of various services and products. You will do this by working on a strategic and tactical level: making sure the pricing, contracts and agreements are according to set standards in the long term, while negotiating with current suppliers, manage projects and purchasing processes on a tactical level. Your aim is to work with suppliers by keeping costs on an agreed level and making sure the delivery is following the Unilever sustainability goals. In this position you work towards set aims which are measurable.
You love to keep up good relations with the marketing department, your local team and your colleagues in the central procurement office in Germany, where your closest manager is located. You will be located at the Unilever Office in Solna, Sweden. With a strong sense of responsibility and an ability to work independently, you are a natural networker within the organization and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders externally. In this role, you are a key person with a humble attitude and a service-minded way of working.
Main responsibility areas:
• Procurement of marketing services and products
• Management of contracts, preferred suppliers and agency contact
• Administrative tasks within delivery control, invoicing and reporting
• Close co-operation with the marketing teams
• Participation in planning of marketing and purchasing activities
• Project leadership in specified projects within procurement
Keys to success in this role:
• Previous experience within procurement and a good understanding of this area
• University degree within procurement, logistics, business management or a technical field
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken) are required, other Nordic languages considered beneficial
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially in Excel)
• Willingness to travel
• Knowledge/experience of Ariba and SAP are an advantage
• Previous project management experience is favorable
