Job Description
Perido is searching for a Procurement Officer to our client, a new European research facility. This facility will in the future enable opportunities for researchers in a wide variety of areas. It's a forward-thinking organization and is characterized by a high rate of quality in their personnel. In order to be successful in this position you therefore need to enjoy the challenges and the diversity of such an environment. The position is located inLund.
In this assignment you will take on a broad and exciting role that offers an ever changing work-day. Your tasks will focus on the overall duties concerning planning, organizing and coordinating the organization's procurement procedures. More specifically, you will take on tasks regarding develop and implement procurement and make sure that the processes are efficient and ensure the quality of the products and services. Furthermore this position includes you to develop strategies and monitor these regarding the purchased product and services. As the role's area of responsibility is broad, we consider you to have good knowledge in these subjects and that you feel comfortable to work with these tasks both independently and in group.
To be successful in this role you need to be flexible, service-minded and committed to the assignment in order to reach the set deadlines and results. Furthermore you have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, ability to follow-up, communicate effectively and work with all levels of management. Required qualifications
• University degree within Finance, Business Administration or Law and/or Engineering is preferable
• Five (5) years experience as a procurement officer
• Experience of advanced procurements, preferably on European level
• Experience of working in an international environment
• Excellent English language skills, oral and written
Meritorious
• Experience from public procurement
• Knowledge of Project Management
Contract type and hours
Full-time, Admission as soon as possible. End date June 30 2016 with possible extension of six months.
