We are now looking for a talented procurement professional to join our European team with focus on the Nordic and DACH region.

You have already worked some years within procurement and want to accelerate your career to an international role where your negotiation and procurement skills are set to test. You are also keen to work in a truly global environment in a company that affects the lives of billions of people.

In this role you will focus on procurement and sourcing of indirect services and workplace suppliers over the Nordic and DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. You will work independently and proactively to identify saving opportunities, new supplier needs and secure a smooth co-operation with existing vendors. You will enjoy working with great responsibility and being able to steer over your own work and projects. Being a part of a European team and reporting to your closest manager in Finland will bring a true international aspect to this role.

As a person you are curious, energetic and excited about meeting new people and working with internal customers and external suppliers in numerous simultaneous projects. You want to control your own projects and be in the front line in negotiations with new suppliers, while being comfortable in handing them over when the agreements are in place.

This position offers you an opportunity to work with a globally leading FMCG company in a world-class procurement organization with great career opportunities in many directions. You will be located at the Unilever Office in Solna and work fluently cross borders and regions. Flexibility for traveling is required.

Main responsibilities:

• Procurement and sourcing of indirect and workplace services
• Contract negotiations and vendor management
• Executing strategic and tactical sourcing projects
• Having own cross-border process responsibilities
• Working towards personal, organizational and global goals
• Tight co-operation and dialogue with internal customers

Keys to success in this role:

• 3-5 years of previous experience within procurement
• Strong negotiation and social skills
• University degree within procurement, logistics or a technical field
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken) are required, other Nordic languages are considered beneficial
• Strong knowledge of MS Office
• Willingness to travel
• Knowledge/experience of SAP, Ariba or other equivalent systems is an advantage
