Sol Voltaics improves the efficiency of energy capture, generation and storage using miniscule amounts of nanomaterials. We are a fast-growing company developing a high volume production technology called Aerotaxy. Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
The Procurement and Sourcing Specialist will work within the engineering team, providing a service to manage the procurement process for product development, automation and sustainment activities for the Aerotaxy team.
You will specialise in procuring hardware and systems for the Engineering Team, working directly with the supply chain. Together with the Engineering Team, you will plan and prioritize purchasing activities and be responsible to manage all aspects of the work flow for procurement cycle to deliver hardware and systems on time.
Activities will include (but not be limited to) creating requisitions for purchased items; managing the approval process; transmitting purchase orders to suppliers; tracking order acknowledgements; receiving goods; providing visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers and documentation of the information at all steps.
You will develop existing and current supply base to help integrate supply chain to reduce the Engineering resources involved in the procurement and assembly of hardware and systems. Integrating the Product Data Management (PDM) system into the procurement process and implementing a quality management system for ordered hardware will be an important activity in this growing organisation. You will also identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies.
Beskrivninig av kvalifikationer:
Preferably you will have a Bachelor?s degree or equivalent that is relevant to supply chain, engineering or manufacturing, but more importantly you will have a minimum 5-10 years? experience working with specialist machine shops, welding and joining processes and advanced manufacturing techniques. Hands-on experience in machining / manufacturing would be a valuable asset.
This person will need to be able to interpret complex engineering drawings and be knowledgeable of the manufacturing techniques required to produce Aerotaxy reactor assemblies and other bespoke equipment.
You will report to the Engineering Manager helping to plan budgets, schedule suppliers and manage costs and risks to meet aggressive milestones.
In achieving this you will need to organize internal and external resources and continue to develop and expand the existing supplier network who are vital to the success of our projects.
You are a self-motivated driver who likes to take ownership and can be relied on to see projects delivered on time. You are excited about being part of a high energy start-up and are prepared to help out with tasks that lie outside of your usual responsibility area when needed. The day-to-day work is in Lund, Sweden, but the position will require some travel to the supply base.
