Procurement Manager to Dynasafe Demil Systems AB

The position as Procurement Manager is a global position based in Karlskoga and report to the Managing Director, also based in Karlskoga.
This is a role with many contacts, both internally and externally, and locally and globally.
As a Procurement Manager you will be the process owner of the Procurement Process and you have the responsibility to ensure that the department is developed in accordiance with the company goals. This position is new and is part of the global restructure to improve how we do procurement.
Focus areas:
- Establish strategies, goals, action plans and milestones for the function.
- Develop and implement global procurement processes and best practices.
- Manage the supplier interface during projects to ensure early supplier involvement and to meet contract targets and drive the Contract management activities.
- Perform Supplier evaluations and decide on approval or not approval of suppliers.
- Initiate and coordinate evaluation of new potential suppliers and ensure dual sourcing options for all parts and services.
- Perform RFI/RFP/RFQ activities and negotiate terms.
- Conduct performance reviews on suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Fulfill work environmental tasks according to "HSE-Uppgiftsfördelning"
Some travel is needed - to visit other Dynasafe sites, offices or to visit suppliers!
How are we looking for?
Our new Procurement manager should have a degree in Logistical Management, Contractual Management or similar. You should have proven experience within strategic and operational procurement both for direct and indirect material spend both locally and globally. The position requires a person that has experience with contract management and awareness and understanding of contractual law. It 's also important that you have the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of sourcing strategy development, financial concepts and the ability to create business cases. You have a passion for reducing TCO!
You must read, write and speak English fluently and you have well-developed IT-skills.
