Description
Main responsibilities:
Run procurement to assigned targets, business needs and market opportunities in assigned trades.
* Meet purchase requests from business units in timely and professional manner, and suggest improvements as needed to make best commercial purchases while meeting business needs
* Capture cross-mills/division synergies.
* Record and communicate the results of completed purchasing processes in easy accessible and systematic way.
* Establish and maintain clear interface and support to all main contacts.
* Ensure usage of Contract Management processes.
* Assist with potential claims, take corrective actions as needed and ensure involvement of legal in timely manner
* Take active role in the work to further develop and implement common processes, routines, templates for increased quality and efficiency.
* Spend 20% of job driving function relevant projects
Manage performance of own functional budget as well as own targets
* Develop and implement yearly target breakdown linked to business as well as individual performance plans
* Make and keep budget and forecasts for own area of responsibility
* Report KPIs according to performance management process
Qualifications
• Relevant University degree in relevant area (engineering/technical or economics/finance)
* Minimum 10 years working experience within purchasing with focus on strategic sourcing
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
* Process and applications skills: Tender, Fenix, Carrier Point, MS Office, Outlook, MSBI

* Strong commercial and supplier relations skills
* Solid analytical skills and understanding of the financial impact of decisions: Able to define and understand the most critical issues - strategically and operationally - and to set and manage structure accordingly.
* Competence in applicable contractual law and relevant terms and conditions in order to manage risk and optimize commercial opportunities.
* Proactive, result oriented, willing to take initiative and responsibility.
* Knowledge of supplier market and key drivers:
* Strong supplier relations skills, strong negotiating skills and thorough understanding of supplier market and key drivers.

* Visible: Is visible through contacts and travel to our sourcing and business units as well as suppliers. Can both help to solve day to day issues as well as making steps to reach larger picture.
