The purpose of the Engineering Procurement Manager (Inköpare) role is to be a Business Partner to Sweden Operations and lead the procurement activities in capital investments for assigned projects for Sweden, and make sure the procurement activities are synchronized and leverage AstraZenecas scale appropriately accordingly with category strategies.

The Procurement manager will deliver stakeholder and business partner requirements through execution of project strategies and by achieving project objectives.

As Procurement manager you will:

* Proactively execute agreed delivery and commercial models and procure Design (Engineering), Construction and CQV services, in addition, procure major strategic process equipment, and negotiate with (assigned or preferred) suppliers all as per the established procurement process.
* Ensuring contract and preferred suppliers list compliance in Design & Construction category
* Support the business in understanding AZ Procurement policies and ensure that users are trained and supported
* Identify and deliver business benefits aligned to assurance of supply, quality, services, cost and innovation
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement and manage efficient and effective supplier relationships
* Develop and manage supplier relationships and issue resolution of moderate to high complexity, support project team in resolution of issues
* Be part of a small global team, with only 3 in Sweden, and report to and managed by the Global Category Manager Design & Construction and Regional Leads

The location of this role is Gärtuna and Snäckviken Site in Södertälje, different locations depending on ongoing projects. Though our home office is in Snäckviken.

Skills and capabilities

* Swedish and fluent English (spoken and written)
* Proven experience working with Sweden local laws & regulations within Design and Construction Industry and/or Pharma Industry
* Experience in negotiation and execution of Procurement agreements
* Area of specialization Procurement of Design and Construction, in addition, but not main, CQV (Commissioning, Quality and Validation) experience
* Demonstrated expertise in Procurement Process is required, particularly with respect to developing & implementing strong delivery models and commercial models, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management and to make sure the projects stay Compliant.
* Demonstrated experience in manage project within the Construction industry or Pharma
* Full knowledge of Microsoft tools
* Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
* Strategic thinker to build relationship with Stakeholders and Suppliers.
* Good communications skills and well organized
* Experience of forecast spend and savings
