Procurement Category Managers - Travel & Other, Professional Services
The new Tieto Procurement function is seeking business-, quality- and result-oriented Category Managers to head the two following global Procurement Categories: Travel & Other, and Professional Services. Currently, procurement of indirect goods and services is highly decentralised; hence the effort to develop a highly competent global procurement function in order to benefit from synergies and scale.
As Procurement Category Manager, you will conduct category planning and category strategy/roadmap in alignment with Country Procurement and key stakeholders within Tieto. Lead, conduct and coordinate category initiatives and tenders following the agreed Procurement process within Tieto, always applying a TCO concept on a global, regional and local level.
You will head global and local Category Teams and be part of the global Sourcing Management Team. Further, you will cooperate closely with the Senior Management in relevant countries, with corporate functions such as Finance, Legal and Facilities, as well as with external partners.
Our ideal candidate holds a university degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering and has substantial experience within indirect sourcing in a multinational company, preferably from an equivalent position within the relevant category. You are analytical and structured, with a high sense of integrity and a great ability to bring your message across to team members, stakeholders and suppliers, influencing key decision-makers and negotiating profitable deals – in fluent English as well as in one of the local languages. You are familiar with using MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
The positions are based in Stockholm and Helsinki.
