Job Description
Perido is searching for an Procurement Assistant for our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is placed at their beautiful office nicely located in Stockholm.

In this assignment you will take on a broad and exciting role that offers an ever-changing workday. You will work closely with a specific procurement programme within the agency where you will:

• provide support to the Procurement Office for procurement activities including, but not limited to, launch of procedures, finalisation of procurement calendar, publication of call for tenders, appointment of opening and evaluation committees, management of questions and answers to tenderers;

• lead the tender opening sessions, prepare the minutes of the opening sessions, update the procurement monitoring sheet, prepare documents for the evaluation;

• notify tenderers; prepare and dispatch letters to contractors, scan and archive -all relevant documents according to our clients procurement archiving policy; manage the archiving;

• register contract award notices in our clients system, provide administrative and clerical support

To be successful in this role you need the ability to take initiative as well as a high level of discretion and ability to handle confidential matters. You have a high level of serevice orientation and experience in organising work and prioritising accordingly. Furthermore we believe that you enjoy teamwork and to communicate with team members, colleagues and external resources. Required qualifications
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant/secretary
• General experience in Procurement
• Knowledge of business flows and other related procurement and financial workflows
• Excellent skills in preparing correspondence and other documentation
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
• Excellent command of English; oral and written

Advantageous:
• EU Procurement knowledge is a clear advantage
• Experience of a multicultural working environment

Contract type and hours
Full time. Start as soon as possible, end date March 31 with probable extension (up to an additional 12 months).
